Overview

BidBriefing is an AI-powered project and specification intelligence platform for business users. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect information when you visit the website, create an account, purchase a subscription, build a Company Intelligence Profile, use the Client Workspace or communicate with us.

Information we collect

We may collect business and contact information, Company Intelligence Profile criteria, project preferences, workspace actions and feedback, account and transaction information, communications, and technical data such as device, browser, IP address, cookies and site activity. Payment card information is processed by Shopify and its payment partners; BidBriefing does not receive complete payment card numbers.

AI and project intelligence data

To operate the platform, we may process project information, source references, available documents, technical terms, specifications and business criteria using software automation and AI service providers. Customer-provided criteria and feedback may be used to improve matching and prioritization for that customer and to improve platform performance in aggregated or de-identified form where permitted.

How we use information

We use information to operate and improve the platform, authenticate accounts, process subscriptions, create and maintain Company Intelligence Profiles, generate project matches and specification signals, deliver alerts and digests, respond to support requests, protect the service, comply with law and send permitted service or marketing communications.

How information is shared

We may share information with Shopify, payment processors, hosting, database, analytics, communications, AI and other technology providers that support the platform; with professional advisers; in connection with a business transaction; or when required by law. We do not sell personal information for money.

Retention, security and your choices

We retain information as reasonably necessary for the purposes above and use reasonable safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of certain personal information, or object to certain processing. We may verify identity before completing a request. The service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18.
